Flexible energy use for stable production and better cost control
Tunnel ovens from SENIUS can be equipped with a Hybrid Heat Exchanger combining gas and electrical heating in the same unit.
One energy source is selected as the primary source for normal operation, while the other acts as backup and automatically supplements the heat demand during start-up or peak load. The priority between gas and electricity can be switched at any time without affecting production performance.
The hybrid system makes it possible to take advantage of periods with surplus electricity in the grid, allowing production to benefit from fluctuations in both electricity prices and availability.

Switch between heating sources.
Without production stop.

Improved energy security
Production is less vulnerable to fluctuations or interruptions in a single energy source. If one source becomes unstable or expensive, the other can take over.
Adjust energy source to current prices
Switch between gas and electricity depending on daily energy prices.
Flexible Energy
Available for new ovens and retrofit installations
The hybrid heat exchanger can be integrated into new ovens or installed on existing tunnel ovens with similar design.
Stable baking performance
The hybrid solution is designed to maintain control of baking conditions regardless of energy source.
Future-proof energy setup
Keeps production flexible as energy markets and regulations change.

Flexible Oven Setups

Use your own solar power directly in production
When electricity is available from onsite solar panels, it can be used directly in the oven.
Support your company’s environmental documentation
Flexible energy use and the possibility of integrating renewable electricity make it easier to document reduced emissions in your production.
